A Walk in the Woods

Art

Today is a just a regular Tuesday in June, the weather is unseasonably and disappointingly cold. Going out for my morning walk, I have to remind myself that summer is coming and not winter, because it really feels like autumn and even the length of my shadows don’t convince me. Dexter would have loved this kind of start to summer, he was a winter dog, 100%.

Here is some of my process pics of working on my painting A Walk In The Woods. I have been working on larger paintings of Dexter, it is my way of healing, or letting go, or remembering. I am not sure, but it brings me closer to him. Makes me cry, but makes me feel a certain spiritual way, and I not spiritual.
